The Relationship Between Workload and Job Stress with Blood Pressure in Nurses in the ICU at Persahabatan Hospital

Introduction: Hypertension is a high blood pressure disease that has become one of the serious problems globally. Hypertension is caused by modern lifestyle habits. Nowadays, people focus on prioritizing work to achieve satisfaction and success. Business, hard work and great desire will cause stress.
Methods: This research design uses correlational analytic research with cross-sectional approach. The population of nurses working in the ICU room of Persahabatan Hospital who fit the inclusion and exclusion criteria were 53 respondents. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire sheet. Analysis using univariate and bivariate using the chi-square test.
Results: The results of the Workload statistical test found that the p-value of 0.001 means P < 0.05. Stress level is known that the p-value of 0.001 means P < 0.05.
Discussion: There is a relationship between workload and work stress with blood pressure in nurses in the ICU room of Persahabatan Hospital.
